Features:
Nitrile rubber(NBR) is the most common material for O-rings. It has good mechanical properties and is resistant to mineral-based lubricants and greases. This characteristic is usually determined by the nitrile (ACN) it contains (ACN is between 18% and 50%). Low ACN ensures low temperature resistance, but oil resistance is affected. As the content of nitrile (ACN) increases, the low temperature resistance decreases and the oil resistance increases.
Temperature:
-30℃ ~ 100℃
Application:
Nitrile rubber is widely used in various oil-resistant applications. Automotive electro-injection injector parts, various oil-resistant gaskets, seals, and hoses. Seals, cushions and other oil-resistant and wear-resistant rubber parts in the hydraulic and pneumatic industry. In the nuclear industry, highly saturated nitrile rubber can also be used as seals in nuclear power plants due to its radiation resistance.
